Vers une alternative aux emballages jetables
Le sel de table est contenu dans un emballage jetable en plastique ou en papier. Ce projet apporte une façon de consommer du sel sans jamais jeter d’emballage. Les usagers doivent râper une pierre de sel contenue dans une boîte en bois. Par ce geste, ils manipulent autrement un produit de consommation ordinaire qui n’est pas considéré au quotidien. L’outil servant à râper le sel referme la boîte lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé. Le produit est aussi durable que possible puisque lorsque le sel vient à manquer, la boîte n’est pas jetée.
The salt as food is contained in disposable packagings made of plastic or paper. This project brings a new use of salt consumption without using packaging and without the act of throaway. A stone of salt in a wood box have to be grated by users directly in their plate. Through this gesture, they handle an ordinary product which is not used to be considered in daily life. The tool to grate covers the box when it is not used. The product is as long-lasting and sustainable as possible : the box is not thrown when the stone of salt is used.
